Terms of Service
By using puff.bio you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
On this page
puff.bio is a bio-link service that lets you build a public profile page at puff.bio/username. It is run by a single independent operator, not a company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that operator, and "puff.bio" means the service.
You can reach the operator at [email protected]. This is also the address for legal notices, copyright complaints, and privacy requests. Write to us there before starting any formal dispute.
puff.bio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or Cloudflare, Inc.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services, whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use puff.bio. We do not ask for a date of birth, so by creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it.
- Give accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity that happens on your account.
- Usernames are first come, first served. We may reclaim, change, or withhold a username that impersonates a person or brand, infringes a trademark, is misleading, or appears to be squatted or held for the purpose of selling it.
- Selling or transferring accounts and usernames is not allowed.
- One person may not create accounts or pages in bulk to get around a ban, a limit, or a username restriction.
You own what you put on your page (links, text, images, audio). You give puff.bio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and resize that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service, including generating link previews on other sites such as Discord. This licence lasts while your content is on the service and for as long as we need it to operate backups and caches, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared by others or retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to everything you upload, including music, images, and artwork. Uploading something you do not have permission to use is your responsibility, not ours.
Do not use puff.bio to:
- Post or link to illegal content, or any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, dox, or impersonate other people.
- Run scams, phishing pages, account-stealing or "free Robux" links, or distribute malware or exploits.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
- Post content that is unlawful in your country or that we are required to remove.
- Abuse the service: scraping at scale, automated sign-ups, evading rate limits, or trying to break, overload, or probe it.
- Inflate counters artificially, including automated views or clicks, or manipulate the leaderboard.
- Sell or promote account trading, cheats, or services that break another platform's rules.
We may investigate and act on suspected violations. You are responsible for any claim against us that arises from your content or your breach of these terms.
Your profile page is public and can be viewed, shared, and archived by anyone. Do not put anything on your page that you are not comfortable making public.
Your page may link to sites we do not control, including Roblox and Discord. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and your use of them is covered by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not endorse them.
Some appearance and analytics features are labelled Premium. Premium is granted by us today; there is no checkout and we do not collect payment. If paid plans become available, prices and billing details will be shown before you buy, you may cancel at any time and keep the paid features until the end of the period you paid for, and, except where the law requires otherwise, payments will be non-refundable.
We may remove content, hide a page, or warn, suspend, or delete an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that we are required to act on. Serious violations, including content that endangers a minor or illegal activity, can result in immediate removal without notice.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab of your dashboard. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you. Deleting an account frees its username for others.
If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, reply to the notice you received or email us. We review appeals at our discretion, and we may decline to restore an account.
If you believe content on puff.bio infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work you own; the exact URL of the infringing content; your name, address, and a way to contact you; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the work or are authorised to act for the owner.
We remove or disable access to material covered by a valid notice, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the same information and an explanation of why the removal was wrong.
Knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages. If you are unsure, get legal advice first.
If you lose access to your account, follow the steps on the account recovery page. We may ask for proof that the account is yours before restoring access, and we may refuse where we cannot establish ownership.
puff.bio is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it online, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we do not promise that any particular feature will remain available. Features may change or be removed. Keep your own copy of your bio and links.
If we discontinue the service, we will post notice on the site at least 30 days beforehand where we reasonably can, and we will give you that window to export or copy your content. We do not promise to keep content available after the service ends.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including your statutory consumer rights.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost goodwill, or lost data arising from your use of the service, or for content we remove under these terms.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period, or (b) US $50. Because the service is currently free, that amount will usually be US $50.
These limits do not apply to fraud or wilful misconduct, to death or personal injury caused by negligence, to anything else the law does not allow us to limit, or to our obligation to pay a liability that cannot be capped. If a limit in this section is found unenforceable, the remaining limits still apply.
If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you posted, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of defending that claim and any amount we are ordered to pay, provided we tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence.
This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by our own negligence, our own breach of these terms, or something we did wrong. If you are under 18, this section applies only to the extent the law where you live allows a minor to take on this responsibility.
Talk to us first. Before starting a formal claim, email [email protected] with a description of the problem and what you want. Most issues are resolved this way. We will reply within 30 days.
Agreement to arbitrate. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree to resolve it through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules are available at adr.org, and we will send you a copy on request.
Costs. The AAA limits what a consumer pays to file: at the date of these terms the maximum is a US $225 filing fee, and fee waivers are available if you cannot afford it. We will pay any administrative fee and the arbitrator's compensation that exceeds that amount, so filing a claim should not cost you more than $225. If you cannot afford the fee and a waiver is refused, we will pay it for you. Each side pays its own lawyers unless the arbitrator awards costs.
Where and how. Arbitration will take place in New York County, New York, or by video or telephone if either side asks, so you are not required to travel. The arbitrator may not award relief that could not be awarded in court under these terms, and the arbitrator will apply New York law.
Small claims and court access. Either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead of arbitration if it qualifies, and either side may ask a court for an injunction to protect intellectual property or to stop unauthorised use of the service. Under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules you keep the right to choose small-claims court for a qualifying dispute.
No class actions. Disputes must be brought only in your individual capacity. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class action or a consolidated or representative proceeding.
Your right to opt out. You may reject this arbitration section by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of creating your account, with your username and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. We will reply to confirm we received it. If you opt out, you keep every other part of these terms, nothing changes about your account, and disputes go to the courts named in the governing-law section. Opting out will never be held against you, and we will not treat an opt-out as a reason to restrict your account.
If you are a minor. If you are under the age of majority where you live, this arbitration section and the class-action waiver may not be enforceable against you, and nothing here removes any right you have under the law where you live.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, any dispute that proceeds in court must be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
If you use puff.bio from outside the United States, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision immediately, we do not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent, and we may transfer ours if the service changes hands. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
The sections that by their nature should survive the end of your account — including your content licence for copies already shared, the disclaimers, the liability limits, the indemnity, and the dispute-resolution and governing-law sections — continue to apply after you stop using the service or delete your account.
We are not responsible for a failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as a hosting or network outage, a cyberattack, a natural disaster, or a change in the law. We will make reasonable efforts to restore the service.
You accept these terms and our Privacy Policy by ticking the box on the final step of signup and creating an account. We record that acceptance, including the version of the policies you agreed to and the date, so that both you and we can see which text applied when you signed up. Creating an account is not possible without that acceptance.
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects your rights, we may ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in before you can continue using the service.
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will change the date at the top, and if a change materially affects your rights we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use puff.bio after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and delete your account.
